Our Fleet

CQ Soil Testing have a diverse fleet of vehicles appropriate for all jobs based on their requirements. This makes it possible to complete jobs requiring 4WD access or a mine site compliant vehicle. Accompanied by highly specialised and capable soil technicians, CQ Soil Testing can provide efficient and effective drilling and geotechnical investigations. Our vehicles are serviced locally and regularly under our accredited HSEQ system register. Maintenance, manufacture and setup for vehicles and drill rigs are also carried out by local businesses where possible.

We offer both ute mounted and trailer mounted drilling rigs, equipped for auger, auger drilling and conventional coring using NMLC barrel.

Drilling rigs are equipped for geotechnical sampling and testing including U50 sampling (including pocket penetrometer and hand vane tests), SPT testing. Our rigs have been designed with safety in mind and have winches to minimise manual handling, fully guarded as well as automatic SPT hammers, rotation guards with lockout and all mine spec safety features.

Drillman GT10 x 2

Our new GT10 drilling rigs are fitted to LandCruiser and Ford Ranger 4×4 platforms with Solid flight auger 10m, hollow flights augers to 12, SPT Testing and U50 undisturbed sampling. This rig caters perfectly to small domestic, industrial and commercial projects.

EziProbe

The Eziprobe has been built specifically for environmental and geotechnical site investigations and is a combined push tube and auger rig mounted on a light truck.

Our operators are trained in conducting environmental investigations, ensuring reliable & valid samples and a hassle-free day on site.

We have percussion push tube equipment including single walled macro and dual walled Geoprobe tooling, solid flight auger equipment with a range of bits as well as large diameter augers for subgrade and pavement sampling.

Inovative Hydraulics GEO110

Our Inovative Hydraulics GEO110 is fitted to a Colorado 4×4 with Solid flight auger 10m, hollow flights augers to 12, U50 undisturbed sampling.

This rig caters perfectly to small domestic, industrial, and commercial projects. This extremely mobile and lightweight rig travels everywhere.

All vehicles are ANCAP 5 rated and are highly suited to small-scale Geotech investigations.
